Violist Diane Houle has been in the wedding business for more than 20 years, tailoring ceremony and reception music for hundreds of brides in her native Cape Cod and now bringing her expertise to the Asheville, N.C., area. Diane’s wedding, reception and event repertoire includes works ranging from Vivaldi’s Spring to the ever-popular Pachelbel Canon to Broadway favorites, ragtime, and classical renditions of contemporary tunes.
In addition to weddings, Diane has served as served as principal violist for Cape Cod Symphony Orchestra (Barnstable, MA.); assistant principal violist for the Simon Simfionetta (Falmouth, MA.); a member of the Plymouth Symphony Orchestra (Plymouth, MA) and Charlotte Symphony Orchestra (Punta Gorda, FL.). She has a particular love for chamber music, and has twice appeared at Companions in Music, a invitation-only chamber music gathering in southwest France. Now a resident of Hendersonville, N.C., Diane performs with the Brevard Symphony Orchestra.
